View from the Legian bedroom
I have to say that I was not that amazed with Bali…Didn’t expect so many built up beach resorts such as Kuta, Legian and Semanyak. But, nice beaches do existe in the north area of the island. Of course that big resorts like the Four Seasons and the Aman have great beaches but the properties are isolated.
The creative hub is Ubud with many art galleries, sweet cafes and bars and there is a great sense of getting away from it all. There are beautiful resorts up here such as the Aman and the Four Seasons puls the Christina Ong’s fourteen bedroom Uma Ubud.
A great option is to rent a villa of your own. A really high-end three bed property villa with a privet chef and staff costs from 600US$.
I was lucky enough to be invited for drinks in one of these. As an Interior Designer I take my hat off!

Gaya Fusion, Café Bali for dinner and Ku De Ta for drinks are a great option. Don’t miss the usual 5 star resorts!
